Points are earned as follows:

- * Adding approved listings to the following pages: bars & nightclubs, dine out, college network and community events earns you: 10 POINTS
- * Adding approved blog submissions, earns you:
20 POINTS
- * Adding approved Hype TV Show, earns you:
15 POINTS
- * Adding comments: 5 Points
- * Inviting Friends & them joining hypecity.com with a valid email: 10 POINTS
- * Adding Events: 20 POINTS
- * Adding Events with flyers and photos: 30 POINTS
Approved refers to submissions that are deemed by Hypecity.com to be valid and legitimate. As an example, a duplicate submission would not be approved. Submissions containing profanity, expletives or vulgar language would not be approved.
